Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Houston, TX

A Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative support in a nursing home in Houston, Texas for a 13-week contract. Care focuses on patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders, using electronic documentation and treatment plans under occupational therapist supervision.

• Deliver skilled rehabilitation treatments under occupational therapist supervision
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report treatment response to the supervising occupational therapist
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on functional support and care plans
• Document treatment minutes and clinical notes in the electronic system
• Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning
• Support student supervision and coordinate needed DME or supplies with the supervising occupational therapist
