Travel Case Management RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Case Management Registered Nurse will support discharge planning in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions
• Review medical necessity and continued stay needs
• Complete needs assessments and arrange DME services
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document case management interventions in Epic

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization review skills
• CMS, HIPAA, continued stay review, and medical necessity knowledge

• BLS
• ACM-RN certification
• InterQual and Milliman guideline experience
• Community hospital, LTAC, or Level II trauma experience
