Travel Case Management RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Case Management Registered Nurse will coordinate discharge planning in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions
• Complete continued stay reviews and medical necessity reviews
• Assess patient needs and arrange durable medical equipment
• Develop and update plans of care with the care team
• Collaborate with social services, therapy, pharmacy, and transportation teams
• Apply CMS, InterQual, and Milliman guidelines to case management decisions

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Care coordination, discharge planning, and continued stay review skills

• BLS
• ACM-RN certification
• InterQual and Milliman criteria experience
• Community hospital, LTAC, or Level II trauma experience
