Travel Cardiology RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric cardiac patients in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit averages 23 patients across 24 beds, with Epic charting and a 1:4 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
• Care for patients with stable STEMI, acute heart failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Support post cardiac catheterization, angiogram, and pacemaker patients
• Administer heparin and cardiac drips within ordered parameters
• Provide TR band care and vascular recovery support
• Collaborate with support services for diagnostics, transport, and rapid response

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac drip management experience
• Epic charting experience
• Accredited nursing education

• BiPAP/CPAP management and oxygen administration
• Central line, PICC, and peripheral IV care
• Blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, phlebotomy, and wound care
