Travel Cardiology RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Cardiology Registered Nurse will facilitate cardiac stress testing in an outpatient hospital setting in Portland, Oregon, on a 13-week contract. It serves adult cardiac patients, uses Epic charting, and has a teaching-hospital environment with a 1:1 ratio.

• Facilitate exercise and pharmacologic stress tests
• Monitor adult cardiac patients during testing and recovery
• Obtain and review 12-lead ECG tracings
• Start peripheral IV access and prepare emergency medications
• Work with echo and nuclear medicine technologists
• Apply treadmill and ergometry protocols
• Recognize contraindications and stop tests when needed

• ACLS and BLS
• Stress testing experience, including exercise stress testing and stress echo
• Ability to obtain 12-lead ECGs and start peripheral IVs
• Epic charting system experience

• CCU experience
• ICU experience
• Previous charge experience
