Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Arlington, VA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgery unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Virginia. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and handles general, GYN, breast/plastics, urology, ortho, podiatry, and eye cases.

• Prepare the room and patient for outpatient surgical procedures
• Circulate for general, GYN, breast/plastics, urology, ortho, podiatry, and eye cases
• Maintain sterile technique and safe operative flow
• Support surgical teams with instrumentation and equipment needs
• Document care and patient status in Epic
• Coordinate turnover and handoff between cases

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience

• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• Ambulatory OR experience
• Epic charting system experience
