Travel Ambulatory Care RN in San Luis Obispo, CA

A Travel Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse will provide pre- and post-procedure care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in San Luis Obispo, California. The role serves infant through geriatric patients in a fast-paced pre- and post-procedure unit.

• Assess patients before procedures and prepare them for care
• Monitor patients after procedures and support recovery
• Provide education before discharge and reinforce home instructions
• Assist with technical skills and equipment used in the unit
• Document patient responses and communicate changes in condition
• Support care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• California Registered Nurse license
• Core assessment, patient education, and discharge planning skills

• One year of pre- and post-op diagnostic cath lab experience
• Ambulatory care or short stay experience
