Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Arlington, VA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient operating room unit in Arlington, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and has 6 rooms with a 1:1 day ratio.

• Prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile field
• Assist with intraoperative care for surgical patients
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia staff during procedures
• Document care and case details in Epic
• Support room setup, turnover, and instrument readiness
• Monitor patient safety, positioning, and perioperative needs

• Active Virginia or compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• 1:1 patient ratio experience

• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• Ambulatory operating room experience
• Trauma level II experience and Epic charting system experience
