Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Arlington, VA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support outpatient surgical cases in Arlington, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a six-room setting and uses Epic charting.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical supplies for outpatient cases
• Assist with general, GYN, breast/plastics, urology, ortho, podiatry and eye procedures
• Circulate during surgical procedures and support the sterile field
• Monitor patient safety before, during and after surgery
• Coordinate with the surgical team to maintain case flow and readiness
• Document care and procedures in the charting system

• Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
• Experience with outpatient surgical services
• Strong surgical nursing and patient safety skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• CNOR certification
• Ambulatory operating room experience
• Epic charting system experience
