Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide circulating care in an ambulatory surgery unit in Seattle, Washington for a 13-week contract. The unit handles inpatient and outpatient surgery with pediatric cases and a 10-room, 25-35 census setting. First-time travelers with experience are welcome.

• Circulate general, gynecology, breast, ENT, urology, orthopedic, eye, and pediatric surgical cases
• Support inpatient and outpatient procedures in the ambulatory surgery unit
• Prepare the room, instruments, supplies, and patient for surgery
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety throughout procedures
• Assist with blood product administration and cardioversion or defibrillation
• Monitor drains, syringe pumps, wound vacs, and warming or cooling equipment

• Washington compact or state Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Prior travel experience
• Ambulatory and general operating room circulating experience with pediatric and multiple specialty surgical cases

• ACLS certification
