Per Diem ICU RN in Tarzana, CA

A Per Diem ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Tarzana, California. Epic charting is used, and the unit cares for patients with DKA, sepsis, stroke, and respiratory failure. Advanced support includes CRRT and target temperature management.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Care for ventilated patients and support BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Titrate vasoactive, cardiac, and IV insulin infusions
• Maintain arterial lines, central lines, and PICC lines
• Administer blood products and manage sedation protocols
• Support stroke care, CRRT, and target temperature management
• Assist with chest tube procedures and wound care with drains or wound vacs

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Epic experience

• Experience in surgical, trauma, shock, or neuro ICU
