Per Diem EMT / ER Tech in Spokane, WA

A Per Diem Emergency Department Technician will assist with emergency care in an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington. The unit cares for adult and pediatric patients.

• Support emergency care for adult and pediatric patients
• Assist with ADLs, ambulation, and feeding
• Collect vital signs, note abnormal values, and report changes
• Draw specimens, label samples, and transport them
• Perform EKGs, prepare patients for bedside procedures, and apply restraints
• Provide behavioral health de-escalation, isolation precautions, and postmortem care

• Current AHA BLS certification
• 1 year of ER Tech experience or 6 to 12 months of ER experience as a current EMT
• EPIC charting experience
• Phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, specimen handling, and restraint application skills
