Per Diem EMT / ER Tech in Seaside, OR

A Per Diem Emergency Department Technician will support emergency care in a critical access hospital in Seaside, Oregon.

• Monitor vital signs and report abnormal findings
• Assist with ADLs, feeding, and ambulation
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and transport
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and support bedside procedures
• Apply restraints and support behavioral de-escalation
• Use PPE and follow isolation precautions
• Provide post-mortem care as needed

• AHA BLS certification
• 1 year of ER Tech experience or 6 to 12 months of ER experience as a current EMT
• EPIC experience
• Experience with phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, restraints, specimen handling, and emergency patient care
