Per Diem EMT / ER Tech in Medford, OR

A Per Diem Emergency Department Technician with Emergency Medical Technician experience will support patient care in an acute care hospital in Medford, Oregon. It serves patients across the lifespan, uses Epic charting, and includes behavioral health support, bedside procedures, and specimen work.

• Obtain vital signs and report changes in condition
• Assist with ambulation, feeding, and activities of daily living
• Perform phlebotomy and handle specimen labeling and transport
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and check blood glucose
• Assist with bedside procedures, restraints, and post-mortem care
• Use isolation precautions and PPE
• Support behavioral emergency de-escalation

• BLS certification
• 1 year of ER Tech experience, or 6 to 12 months of ER experience as a current EMT
• Epic charting experience
• Phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG, and specimen handling experience
• Behavioral emergency management, restraint application, and isolation precautions/PPE experience
