Per Diem ED RN in Polson, MT

A Per Diem Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide urgent nursing care in a critical access hospital in Polson, Montana for patients with acute and emergent conditions using Epic charting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care needs
• Monitor vital signs and response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies and other ordered treatments
• Assist with urgent procedures and stabilization
• Collaborate with providers and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses

• Montana Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS
• NRP, PALS and TNCC
• Epic charting experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Clinical judgment, communication and teamwork skills
