Travel X-Ray Tech in South Carolina

A Travel X-Ray Tech with ARRT (R) certification will provide pediatric diagnostic imaging in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates through adults in inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR settings, uses Epic, and is a magnet, teaching, Level I trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform pediatric diagnostic x-ray imaging for neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• Obtain routine, portable, and bedside images in inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR settings
• Assist with C-arm and fluoroscopy imaging as needed
• Position patients and select imaging techniques for quality studies
• Follow radiation safety practices and protect patients and staff
• Document exams and support workflow in Epic

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS
• South Carolina license
• 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience
• Dedicated pediatric experience
• OR and C-arm experience

• PACS experience
• Pediatric acute care, PICU, or NICU imaging experience
• Emergency Department and operating room imaging experience
• Contrast media preparation and barium study experience
