Travel X-Ray Tech in South Carolina

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will support diagnostic imaging in a teaching hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, uses Epic, and sits within a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform diagnostic radiography across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist with bedside, portable, and C-arm imaging procedures
• Position patients and equipment to obtain quality images
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Prepare exams and maintain accurate imaging records
• Work with radiology staff to support daily workflow

• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license in hand before start
• 1 year of X-ray technology experience
• Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and pediatric outpatient imaging
• Bedside, portable, C-arm, PACS, and charting system experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Level II trauma experience
