Travel X-Ray Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. It is a teaching hospital with Epic charting and serves patients from neonates through geriatrics.

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams across extremity, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and airway studies
• Assist with portable, bedside, and C-arm imaging in emergent and surgical settings
• Position patients safely and obtain quality images for adults, pediatrics, and infants
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Prepare and administer contrast media as assigned
• Work with other clinical teams to complete routine and trauma imaging

• ARRT Registered Technologist certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Oregon state license
• 1 year of radiology experience in a large acute care hospital setting
• Experience with adult, pediatric, ICU, emergency department, and operating room imaging
• Proficiency with portable exams, C-arm procedures, contrast media, and radiation safety

• Fluoroscopy permit
• Epic charting system experience
• Carestream or O-arm experience
• Teaching hospital experience
