Travel X-Ray Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging in a hospital outpatient unit on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The caseload runs 30 to 75 patients a day, with fluoroscopy, portable imaging and Cerner charting.

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents and adults
• Assist with fluoroscopy studies and contrast media procedures
• Complete portable and bedside imaging for inpatient and outpatient needs
• Prepare patients and maintain radiation safety and infection control practices
• Support image quality and timely documentation in Cerner
• Work collaboratively with another technologist to manage a busy caseload

• ARRT R certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of radiography experience
• Portable and bedside imaging, C-arm and O-arm procedures, contrast media preparation and administration
• Infection prevention, isolation precautions and radiation safety knowledge
• Experience in NICU, PICU, operating room, pediatric acute care and pediatric outpatient settings

• Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience
• PACS and Philips system experience
• Experience with adult outpatient imaging and trauma cases
• Advanced radiography exam experience across abdomen, chest, spine and extremity studies
