Travel X-Ray Tech in Newberg, OR

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide general x-ray coverage for emergency, outpatient, inpatient and surgical cases in a short-term acute care hospital in Newberg, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic, has two imaging rooms, one fluoro room, c-arms and portables, and serves a Level IV trauma center. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform general x-ray exams
• Assist with surgical imaging cases
• Complete portable and bedside studies
• Support fluoro and c-arm procedures
• Handle trauma and musculoskeletal imaging
• Document exams in Epic

• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Oregon state licensure
• 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience
• Community hospital experience
• PACS experience

• Infection prevention practices
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Radiation safety
• Carestream experience
