Travel X-Ray Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging support in a hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, and is part of a teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams for adult and pediatric patients
• Assist with portable, bedside and C-arm imaging procedures
• Prepare patients and explain imaging workflows
• Apply radiation safety, infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Support contrast media preparation and administration as needed
• Document imaging activity in Epic

• ARRT-R certification
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of large hospital acute care imaging experience
• Experience with portable, bedside and C-arm procedures
• Experience with radiation safety and contrast media

• Fluoroscopy permit
• Epic charting system experience
• PACS experience
• Teaching hospital experience
