Travel X-Ray Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel X-Ray Tech will provide diagnostic imaging support in a short term acute care hospital on a 13 week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic and serves patients from neonates through geriatrics in a high-volume imaging setting.

• Perform diagnostic x-rays and portable imaging studies
• Assist with OR, emergency department, ICU, and NICU imaging needs
• Position patients and obtain high-quality images across age groups
• Support fluoroscopy, surgical cases, and C-arm exams as needed
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Prepare contrast media studies and document care in Epic

• ARRT Radiography certification
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of X-ray Tech experience
• Experience in adult acute care imaging, OR, ICU, NICU, emergency department, and bedside procedures
• Contrast media preparation and administration experience

• O-arm experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Teaching or community hospital experience
