Travel Wound Care RN in Simi Valley, CA

A Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for medically complex patients in a hospital in Simi Valley, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports inpatient wound, ostomy, and continence care, including assessment, treatment, prevention, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

• Assess wounds, pressure injuries, fistulas, and altered skin integrity
• Develop and update wound, ostomy, and continence care plans
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and clinical staff
• Support treatment and prevention strategies for draining wounds and pressure ulcers
• Conduct rounds on patients with wound concerns as needed
• Share wound care updates with physicians and nursing staff

• California Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, planning, and care coordination skills
