Travel Wound Care RN in Gardena, CA

A Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse will provide care for wound and ostomy patients in a long-term acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Gardena, California. The unit supports subacute patients and uses the nursing process to promote safe care.

• Assess wound and ostomy care patients
• Plan and deliver nursing care using the nursing process
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate care with the team and delegate tasks as appropriate
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• CWOCN certification
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• 2 years recent Wound Care Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting
