Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for neuroscience patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves neurology, neurosurgical, and telemetry patients, uses Epic, and is a designated stroke unit. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and notify the team of changes
• Assess neurologic status and support NIH Stroke Scale use
• Coordinate care for neurology, neurosurgical, and stroke patients
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and dysrhythmia management
• Support preoperative and postoperative neurosurgical care
• Monitor patients during procedural sedation and bedside interventions

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• 6 months of neuro experience
• Epic charting experience
• 4-5 patient ratio experience and neuro telemetry, dysrhythmia, respiratory support, chest tube, and neurosurgical care skills
