Travel Telemetry RN in San Pedro, CA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in San Pedro, California. The 37-bed unit welcomes first-time travelers and supports complex respiratory care.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Care for adults with neuro, cardiac, respiratory, GI/GU, and surgical conditions
• Manage ventilated patients and tracheostomy care
• Support oxygen therapy and noninvasive airway support
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and insulin protocols
• Maintain central lines, feeding tubes, drains, and wound care
• Use safe patient handling equipment and respond to rapid changes in condition

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Ventilated patient and tracheostomy care experience
• Epic charting experience
• Critical thinking, rhythm interpretation, and IV therapy skills

• CPI
• Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Peripheral nerve block catheter experience
• Telemetry monitoring experience
