Travel Telemetry RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac and neuro patients in a hospital telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Thousand Oaks, California. The unit uses Meditech, runs a 4:1 ratio, and serves a 30-bed setting with overflow space.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and interpret EKGs
• Start IVs and support vascular access needs
• Manage chest tubes and post-procedure recovery
• Care for patients after heart caths and cardiac procedures
• Assess cardiac and neuro patients for changes in condition
• Document care and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• EKG interpretation, IV start, and chest tube management skills
• Telemetry nursing experience
