Travel Telemetry RN in Highlands, NC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Highlands, North Carolina. The 24-bed unit uses Cerner and typically serves patients at 6:1 to 7:1 ratios.

Care focuses on geriatric and swing bed patients in a setting that values teamwork and reliable bedside support.

• Monitor telemetry patients and report changes in condition
• Assess geriatric and swing bed patients throughout the stay
• Administer medications and carry out nursing treatments
• Support wound care and minor procedures on the unit
• Document care accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain patient safety
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Geriatric care or inpatient rehab experience
• Wound care skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention certification
