Travel Telemetry RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for general surgery patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner, and the patient mix includes urology and bowel cases with telemetry monitoring.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
• Provide care for general surgery, urology, and bowel patients
• Manage IV antibiotics, heparin infusions, TPN, and tube feeds
• Assist with wound vacs, drains, catheters, and ostomy care
• Support postoperative recovery and coordinate with the RN team
• Document care in the electronic record

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Telemetry competency
• General surgery, urology, and bowel patient care experience

• TPN, PCA, wound vac, PEG tube, Dobhoff, and NG tube care
• Drains, colostomy, urostomy, and urinary catheter experience
• Heparin drip and IV antibiotic experience
