Travel Surgical Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Surgical Tech Surgical Technologist will assist in the outpatient surgery operating room on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit supports outpatient, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular cases in a 4-room setting and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for outpatient surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team during orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support safe instrument handling
• Set up, check, and organize surgical supplies and equipment
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
• Help with room turnover and case cleanup between procedures

• BLS
• 1 year of surgical tech experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance

• NBSTSA certification
• Ambulatory operating room experience
• Orthopedic, neuro, or vascular case experience
