Travel Surgical Tech in Carmel, IN

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room cases in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Carmel, Indiana. The unit includes 14 operating rooms and serves general, orthopedic, spine, robotics, pediatric, urology, ENT, plastics, and gynecologic surgery. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile technique
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgical procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and room turnover
• Support counts, specimen handling, and safe case flow
• Help with equipment setup, cleaning, and sterilization tasks
• Follow universal protocol and safety practices in the OR

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 3 years of surgical technologist experience
• Operating room aseptic technique and instrument processing skills
• Experience with sterile field maintenance, specimen handling, and safety protocols
