Travel Surgical Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room on a 13 week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit handles general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma cases with 1:1 staffing and Cerner charting. The hospital is a Magnet designated level II trauma center and stroke center.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments
• Assist surgeons and the team during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support case setup
• Handle instruments, supplies, and counts
• Anticipate needs across general, robotics, neuro, orthopedic, vascular, burn, and trauma cases
• Support patient safety and turnover between cases

• NBSTSA certification
