Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Vidalia, GA

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech therapy in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Vidalia, Georgia. The caseload mixes outpatient and inpatient patients, about 4 per day, with Meditech charting and modified barium swallow studies. Care includes swallowing, voice, and language evaluation.

• Assess swallowing, voice, and language needs across outpatient and inpatient patients
• Perform modified barium swallow studies with the care team
• Document evaluations, plans, and progress in Meditech
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on patient response
• Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff

• CCC-SLP
• Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology program
• Clinical experience with swallowing, voice, and language assessments
