Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Tuba City, AZ

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will provide medically based speech and language therapy for inpatient and outpatient patients in Tuba City, Arizona on a 13-week contract. The role serves a predominantly Native American population across the lifespan and supports swallowing, cognitive, voice, pediatric speech, and feeding care with electronic health record documentation.

• Assess speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, and feeding needs
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations and patient progress
• Provide therapy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform or assist with swallowing studies and specialty evaluations
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other care team members

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current full, unrestricted Speech Language Pathology license in Arizona or another U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• 3 years of experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Pediatric and adult dysphagia and neuro experience
