Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Plano, TX

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will provide inpatient speech therapy in an acute care hospital and rehabilitation setting on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The setting includes trauma level 1 services, neuroscience, ICUs, burn, oncology, ortho and spine care, with Meditech charting.

• Provide one-on-one speech therapy treatments to inpatients
• Complete modified barium swallow studies in radiology
• Evaluate communication and swallowing needs
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress in the electronic record
• Collaborate with the care team on therapy goals

• Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• At least 2 years of full-time acute care hospital or LTAC experience
• Strong modified barium swallow study skills
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings

• Level 1 trauma experience
