Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Lewistown, MO

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a nursing home setting on a 13-week contract in Lewistown, Missouri. Care includes individualized treatment, standardized assessments, electronic documentation, and discharge planning for patients in long term care.

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient progress and outcomes
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Document treatment, progress, and required records in the electronic system
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers
• Communicate with the care team and participate in care conferences
• Support discharge planning and supervise CFY or student Speech Language Pathologists

• Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license
