Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Dallas, TX

A Travel Speech Language Pathologist will assess and treat pediatric feeding and swallowing needs in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The caseload is about 1:10 to 1:12 patients per therapist, with Meditech charting and specialty feeding equipment.

• Evaluate infants and children with feeding, swallowing, speech, and language needs
• Provide bedside feeding and swallowing interventions
• Assist with pediatric modified barium swallow studies
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in Meditech

• Texas Speech Language Pathologist license
• Infant feeding and dysphagia experience with birth to school-age patients
• Pediatric speech, language, and swallowing assessment skills

• Pediatric modified barium swallow study experience
• Neonatal ICU experience
