Travel Rehabilitation RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California, on a 26-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a 23-room setting with a 1:5 ratio, and a related step-down area runs 1:7. EPIC charting is used, with telemetry monitoring and broad acute-care support central to the role.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Provide care for adults and older adults on a rehab-focused inpatient unit
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral access
• Support cardiac, neurologic, renal, and orthopedic care
• Perform wound care, drain care, feeding tube care, and respiratory support
• Document patient care and maintain isolation precautions

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and Fire Card
• 3 years of registered nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia management competency
• Prior travel experience
• Knowledge of quality indicators

• Bariatric surgery experience
• Tracheostomy care and management
