Travel Rehabilitation RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse will provide inpatient rehabilitation care in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury and amputation, uses Meditech charting, and works with a 5:6 patient ratio. CNA and unit secretary support is available.

• Assess and monitor patients recovering from neurologic and orthopedic conditions
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Manage IV pumps, feeding pumps and other common rehab equipment
• Support safe transfers, mobility and daily care needs
• Coordinate care with therapy teams and other disciplines
• Document patient status and responses in the charting system
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Inpatient rehabilitation nursing skills

• Med surg experience
• Rehabilitation experience
