Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Tallahassee, FL

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory support in an acute care hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Tallahassee, Florida. The unit uses Meditech and supports adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in ICU and ER settings. Ventilator and BiPAP care are central to the role.

• Assess respiratory status and provide ordered therapy
• Manage ventilators and BiPAP support
• Deliver aerosol treatments and monitor response
• Assist with intubation, arterial line insertion, and bronchoscopy support
• Monitor bedside ABGs and escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians during rounds

• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Critical care and emergency care respiratory therapy experience
• Ventilator and BiPAP management skills
