Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Brandon, FL

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support a level 3 NICU in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in Brandon, Florida. The unit has 36 beds, typically staffs two therapists at peak volume, and uses Meditech and NeoNotes.

• Support high-risk deliveries
• Manage conventional and high-frequency ventilators
• Assist with surfactant administration
• Obtain and interpret blood gases
• Deliver nitric oxide therapy
• Monitor NICU patients and respond to acute changes

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Florida state licensure and NBRC credential
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Level 3 NICU experience or 3 to 5 years of Level 2 NICU experience
