Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Kissimmee, FL

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide neonatal respiratory care in a level II NICU at an acute care hospital in Kissimmee, Florida for a 13-week contract. The unit supports newborns within a pediatric and women’s services setting.

• Assess neonatal respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
• Set up and manage ventilators, oxygen delivery and other respiratory support equipment
• Assist with intubation, suctioning and other airway procedures
• Collect and analyze blood gases and adjust therapy as directed
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians on respiratory plans of care
• Document respiratory treatments and patient responses

• Florida Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Neonatal respiratory care and ventilator management skills
