Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Spokane, WA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostics support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The setting is a teaching hospital with Level II trauma and pediatric trauma services, Epic charting and pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver respiratory assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer aerosolized treatments, inhalers and oxygen therapy
• Support airway management, tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Assist with ABGs, specimens and ventilator support
• Respond to code and rapid response events
• Perform pulmonary hygiene and weaning support

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Washington state license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• ABG interpretation and airway management skills

• ACLS and PALS
• Pediatrics, trauma and rapid response experience
• Mechanical ventilation weaning and high-pressure alarm troubleshooting
• Inhaled nitric oxide and inhaled Flolan experience
