Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in North Adams, MA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for patients in a critical access hospital unit on a 13-week contract in North Adams, Massachusetts. The role supports a teaching hospital respiratory therapy team serving a broad inpatient population.

• Assess respiratory status and monitor patient response to treatment
• Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments
• Set up and monitor ventilatory support and related respiratory equipment
• Perform airway care and assist with intubation or extubation as needed
• Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases and other respiratory measurements
• Document care and communicate findings with the care team
