Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Farmington, CT

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital respiratory therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. Adults with respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic needs are cared for using EPIC charting.

• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ordered oxygen therapy, nebulized treatments, and other respiratory interventions
• Support airway management and mechanical ventilation
• Obtain and monitor diagnostic data related to pulmonary care
• Collaborate with nurses and providers on adult patient care plans
• Document treatments and patient response in EPIC

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential through NBRC or equivalent certifying body
• Connecticut Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS
• 1-2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
• Travel experience
• EPIC experience
