Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Spokane, WA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, uses Epic charting, and is part of a teaching hospital with Level II trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations.

• Provide respiratory care across pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
• Assist with airway support, oxygen therapy and ventilatory support
• Respond to ER, code and rapid response needs
• Perform ABG interpretation and pulmonary hygiene
• Support extubation, suctioning and tracheostomy care
• Set up aerosol treatments and noninvasive ventilation

• Washington respiratory therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Airway management, suctioning and ABG interpretation skills

• ACLS and PALS
• Pediatric respiratory care and emergency department experience
• Trauma, rapid response and teaching hospital experience
• Mechanical ventilation weaning and ventilator alarm troubleshooting
