Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Richland, WA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide neonatal respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richland, Washington. The role supports a level 3 NICU with Epic charting and focuses on airway and ventilatory support for high-acuity newborns.

• Provide respiratory therapy for neonatal patients in the NICU
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and newborn stabilization
• Manage ventilatory support, including high-frequency and conventional systems
• Perform airway care, suctioning, and tracheostomy support
• Obtain and interpret arterial and capillary blood gases
• Support weaning, oxygen therapy, and respiratory equipment troubleshooting

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Washington state respiratory therapist license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Level 3 NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Adult critical care or emergency department experience
• Neonatal transport experience
• High-frequency oscillator and nitric oxide experience
• Trauma Level II experience
