Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a children's hospital PICU and acute care unit on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role serves neonates, infants, and pediatrics and uses Cerner charting; first-time travelers are accepted.

• Deliver respiratory treatments and airway support for pediatric patients
• Assist with noninvasive ventilation, oxygen delivery, and aerosol therapy
• Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and specimen collection
• Support extubation, ventilator weaning, and pulmonary hygiene
• Monitor respiratory status and respond to alarm conditions
• Collaborate with the care team in PICU, NICU, and pediatric acute care

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Indiana Respiratory Therapist license
• ACLS and BLS
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• 2 years of pediatric critical care experience
• Children's hospital experience in the last 3 years
• CoARC- and CHEA-accredited respiratory therapy education

• PALS
• Cerner charting system experience
• ABG interpretation
• Nitric oxide and Servo U experience
