Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a children's hospital on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cerner charting is used, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide respiratory therapy support for NICU and pediatric patients
• Set up and manage aerosol, CPAP, BIPAP, and tracheostomy therapies
• Assist with airway suctioning, placement, and extubation support
• Monitor ventilated patients and respond to high-pressure alarms
• Support weaning from mechanical ventilation and related care
• Document care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

• Indiana Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP
• Graduation from a CoARC- and CHEA-accredited program
• 2 years of NICU experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 5 years

• PALS
• Cerner charting experience
• ABG interpretation
• Inhaled nitric oxide experience
