Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric respiratory care in a children's hospital pediatric ICU and acute care setting on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports neonates, infants, and children and uses Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and deliver respiratory treatments for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and noninvasive ventilation support
• Assist with tracheostomy care, suctioning, and extubation support
• Monitor ventilation status and troubleshoot airway pressure alarms
• Support pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection
• Document care and coordinate therapy changes with the clinical team

• Active Indiana Respiratory Care license, with temporary licensure accepted while full licensure application is in process
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification
• Graduation from a CoARC-accredited, CHEA-regionally accredited respiratory therapy program
• 2 years of pediatric critical care experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 5 years
• Pediatric respiratory therapy skills with aerosol therapy, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and alarm troubleshooting

• PALS certification
• Cerner charting system experience
• ABG interpretation and nitric oxide exposure
